This information is compiled from a variety of sources on the web and in print. At first, most of my information came from the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society repeater listing. Then, I verified much of it against what I could actually hear.
This listing is meant to aid hams in the Sanford, NC area in finding 2 meter repeaters to use. If you're looking for a better listing, visit RARS at the above link, or join The SouthEastern Repeater Association as an associate member and get an updated repeater listing in each quarterly magazine. I joined for $8. In addition to the nice magazine with repeater listings, a portion of that price goes to supporting SERA's repeater coordination services. Tell them KD4THS sent you.
| Frequency | Location | Tone | Notes |
| Lillington | 82.5 | This used to be the local repeater when it was located on the WKFT-40 tower near Broadway. Unfortunately, the tower fell when it was hit by a plane, and the repeater was lost. It came back up on a lower tower, which is fine and dandy, but it used to be a mountains to sea system. | |
| 147.240+ | Carthage | - | Not easy at 2 watts, but a nice medium activity repeater. That Yagi I made sure helps. |
| 147.075+ | Pittsboro | 146.2 | Very little activity on this one, but no matter. I'll be checking in for the Possum Trot on occasion, since I've got higher power to call on, these days. |
